Performing Arts

Performing Arts encourage children to expand their imagination, infuse self confidence and explore their inner emotions. Performing Arts classes are powerful educational tools that help children develop social skills, leadership acumen, promote innovation and critical thinking. They nurture the child’s aesthetics and emotional intelligence to turn out happy and well-rounded individuals.

We have planned a plethora of activities to enhance the cognitive, motor and social skills of our students.

1. Art And Craft is an integral tool in development of the innovative domain in children. It helps them with fine motor coordination and provides them with a medium to express their ideas and emotions and familiarizing them with their surrounding environment.

We encourage our students to express themselves through drawings and paintings and explore variations with colours using their thumb, fingers, palms, thread, cotton and vegetables.

Our craft activities include paper folding to create fine origami, clay moulding, designing cards for festivals and events, collage making and making the best use of waste to create beautiful artifacts.

2. Music & Movement Music is joy and a strong stimulation for making synaptic connections. We teach our students to identify the sources of music around us-like the cooing of koyal, buzzing of bees or rain pattering on a window. Our folk songs help children to learn to listen, to remember and create their own music.

Singing songs is a powerful medium for young children to practice languages and develop good memory.

3. Drama Drama is essential for children to learn empathy and self-control. Drama is infused in story telling with masks and puppets and students are encouraged to participate in role plays, skits and nukkad nataks.

4. Indoor and Outdoor games are an integral part of our curriculum and we provide ample opportunities for students to take part in team games and develop solo skills. We encourage them to take part in sporting activities, maintain a healthy routine and learn about the importance of team work. Our students enjoy Yoga, PT exercises, drill, aerobics, free play, traditional Indian games like kho-kho, along with indoor activities and games.
