I would like to compliment the Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust for setting up the Horizon School of Excellence in partnership with Shri Gow Rakshni Sabha. The Trust has always taken the lead to start unique educational projects to help the disadvantaged youth in Ludhiana. I am convinced that this new initiative coupled with an unwavering commitment to promote quality education among underserved communities, will provide them with opportunities to grow and excel.
The world today is changing at a rapid pace wherein progressive educational institutions are preparing students to address the challenges of future. Educationists have to prepare students for jobs where cutting-edge technologies will play a big role. We believe that it requires a shift in pedagogy and integration of technology which would be an indispensable part of the new framework of education, as per the vision of the NEP 2020. It is our belief that universal access to high-quality education is fundamental for India's continued growth.
With the passion and zeal to empower children of Ludhiana city with holistic quality education, we laid the foundation of Horizon School of Excellence. This will be a unique educational institution, the first of its kind in the city to impart holistic tech-integrated quality education, which will prepare students for a future of possibilities. The school's infrastructure and environment will ensure our students, families and staff will always feel welcomed, inspired and respected. At Horizon School, our children will be valued for their diversity, empowered with 21st century skills to augment and influence their communities. Our goal is to provide our students with a curriculum that enhances rigor and fosters independent thinkers and prepares them to become productive citizens of India.
We will explore every opportunity to support the learning and growth trajectories of our students. The team will continue to build and nurture student centric learning experiences with innovative pedagogies. In the coming years, it is our ambition that we build a strong foundation of the school where students experience best-in-class learning environment and become lifelong learners and change-makers to contribute towards the economic development of the country.
I am sure, the Principal, teachers and the staff will put in their best efforts towards delivering quality education to the students and prepare them for a brighter future.
